Abstract
Celebrations are dramatic and symbolic manifestations of social conflict that reflect the structure, paradigms, tragedies and interests of culture The objective is to make an ethnography about the autumn celebrations commemorated in the Lucas de Gálvez market. The methodology used was predominantly field work and interviews In the text it´s observed how the ritual breaks the established order and transforms the market into a festive venue that receives devoted merchants or into a symbolic battle in space for the use of the days.
