Abstract
Painting as an artistic object in which aesthetics and the interpretation of the world converge is an element of cultural transmission that, in the case of the work of Ximena Licona Gámez, invites reverie based on amazement at what is apparently everyday. The young artist, who has studied at the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla, has been interested in recovering the landscape around her daily life through her work, which includes murals, engravings and painting.
